Friday, Oct. 10 and Saturday, Oct. 11 at 7:30pm – Catch Me If You Can: The Music of John Williams (Colorado Springs, Co.) – I’m hosting, and I helped curate, this all-Williams program at the Colorado Springs Philharmonic in my beloved home state. (I’ll also be signing books at intermission.) Come hear some of John’s greatest hits—alongside some delicious, rarely performed gems.

• Thursday, Oct. 23 at 5pm EST – The Sound of Jaws: John Williams and the Score That Changed Everything (Martha’s Vineyard Museum, MA.) – I’m giving a presentation on the significance and stories behind the Jaws score, the Big Bang of John’s career… and it’s happening on the 50th anniversary year of Jaws at a museum on Amity Island Martha’s Vineyard!

Saturday, October 25 at 3pm EDT- Boston Book Festival (Boston, Ma.) – Biography: What Makes an Artist, a panel featuring myself, Christopher C. Gorham (Matisse at War), and Peter Jeffreys (Constantine Cavafy: A New Biography), moderated by Jen Moore (GBH News).

Monday, October 27 and Wednesday, October 29 – I’ll be in New York speaking at The Juilliard School with Nicholas Britell (Succession, Moonlight). More details coming soon!

Saturday, Nov. 8 at 8pm PST – Jaws 2 screening at the Academy Museum (Los Angeles) – I’ll be introducing John’s very first sequel assignment, a not-as-great movie with an arguably just-as-great score; I’ll also be signing the book. Everybody back in the water!

Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 5pm GMT+1 – Rothermere American Institute (Oxford, England) – A conversation about the book at this great institute within the storied University of Oxford, a stone’s throw from the historic press that published my book, and moderated by the one and only Daniel Pemberton!

Sunday, January 25, 2026 – I’ll be giving a pre-concert talk at Symphony Hall in Boston, adjoined to a performance of John Williams’ new piano concerto by Emanuel Ax and the BSO.
